My Favorite Season: Autumn

Autumn is my favorite season, a time when the world turns into a painting of red, orange, and yellow. The air becomes cool and crisp, perfect for wearing cozy sweaters. Every morning, I walk to school through a park where maple leaves crunch under my shoes. The trees look like they’re on fire, and the sky is a bright, clear blue. Autumn is also harvest season—my grandma brings us apples from her orchard, and we make apple pie together. On weekends, I go hiking with my family, and we pick wild mushrooms (only the safe ones, my dad says). The best part is Halloween: I carve pumpkins into jack-o’-lanterns and go trick-or-treating with friends, coming home with a bag full of candy. Autumn is a season of beauty and joy, and I always wish it could last a little longer.
