A Trip to the Local Science Center
My class visited the local science center last Tuesday. It had interactive exhibits that made learning fun. My favorite was the “Force and Motion” area—I pushed a big ball up a ramp and watched how it rolled down faster on steeper slopes. We also tried a virtual reality game where we explored the ocean. I felt like I was swimming with dolphins and colorful fish. A scientist showed us a chemical reaction: when she mixed two liquids, they bubbled and turned bright blue. We got to make our own slime using glue and borax. Mine was bright green and stretchy. Before leaving, I bought a science puzzle about the solar system. The trip made me realize science is everywhere. I’m going to visit the science center again with my dad this weekend.
